Online Information
All Berg journals are available online as well as in the print edition. Having access to the online version of a journal offers many benefits to the librarian and reader, including the ability to search quickly across a whole range of research articles, gain instant access to the full-text of articles from journals subscribed to, and linkin between references and cited articles.
CrossRef
Berg Publishers is a member of CrossRef. It operates a cross-publisher citation linking system that allows a researcher to click on a reference citation on one publisher's platform and link directly to the cited source on another publisher's platform ('reference linking'). Through this functionality our authors are engaged in a constant dialogue with academic and research community worldwide.
Links to Electronic Products
All journal articles available online can be accessed via a Digital Object Identifier (DOI). Each article is allocated one DOI which operates as an unique identifier for electronic contents. The DOI directs users straight to the publication's current site even if it thas been transferred to a different website in the interim. DOIs improves the online research experience by enabling to find articles without any inconveniences.
Information for Instiutional Subscribers
Online access to Berg journals is available through the subscription options listed below. Institutions will have full access to available digitised backfiles and current issues they subscribe to, and will continue to have access to archival content for as long as active subscriptions are maintained.
1.) Print institutional subscription plus free online access
Berg Publishers provides free online access with all institutional print subscriptions. Subscriptions and online access are based on a calendar year. The online content can be accessed through Ingenta. Upon activation institutions need to register online and request the activation through IngentaConnect. 2.) Online only subscription
Online only subscriptions are priced at approximately 20% of the print institutional susbcription price. Subscriptions and online access are based on a calendar year. The online content can be accessed through Ingenta. Upon activation institutions and individuals subscribing to the online only version of a journal, need to register online and request the activation through IngentaConnect. Licence Agreement
Berg Publishers supports the NISO/SERU initiative (Shared Electronic Resource Understanding, sponsored by NISO. Institutions wishing to subscribe to Berg journals will be given the option to forego a traditional licensing agreement and operate under SERU Recommended Practices. However, if you require a licence agreement please download the following document (PDF), sign two copies and send us both for countersigning. If you have any further questions please contact us.

Information for Individual Subscribers

Berg Publishers currently does not offer free online access to individual subscribers with a print subscriptions. However, if you are not a current subscriber to the online only version of a journal you are offered to purchase single articles at www.ingentaconnect.com
Information for Society Members
If you are a member of an academic society or association you may have access to the online version of the society's journal as part of your member benefits. All qualifying members will be contacted by their society or directly by us with details.
Service Provider
Electronic access to Berg Journals is available via third party service providers. Your librarian will have information about the service provider(s) used in your institution.
There is no additional charge to the publisher's subscription price. However, service providers may charge libraries for use of their services.
