Berg Publishers offers university libraries a wide range of journals with a strong focus on culture and the visual arts. Berg journals collection holds currently 16 peer-reviewed and highly respected publications with one new launch planned in 2010. All journals are ideally suited to undergraduate and graduate students, and lecturers across research departments.  
Berg journals are available in print + online and online only depending on the needs and preferences of each individual library.

Berg Publishers has signed an agreement with the Scottish Higher Education Digital Library (SHEDL)
Berg Publishers is pleased to announce it has signed an agreement with the Scottish Higher Education Digital Library (SHEDL) to licence its complete journal content to all 19 member institutions starting from 2010. The three year agreement will support SHEDL’s initiative to provide access to a larger variety and number of electronic journals to the Scottish Higher Education community.

Cultural and Social History now covered by ISI Arts and Humanities Citation Index
Cultural and Social History, the official journal of the Social History Society, has recently been accepted for inclusion in the ISI Arts and Humanities Citation Index. The journal has met the high standards of the objective evaluation process and is featured in the category 'history' from now on.

Interiors: Design, Architecture and Culture - new journal in 2010
 
Berg is pleased to announce it will launch Interiors in 2010. It will complement Berg’s existing programme in the visual arts and will increase its journal collection to 17 titles. The journal is edited by Anne Massey (Kingston University, UK) and John Turpin (Washington State University, USA) and will be published 3 times a year.

Art in Translation awarded ‘Highly Commended’ in the 2009 ALPSP Award for Best New Journal
Art in Translation has been awarded a Highly Commended Certificate in the 2009 ALPSP Award for Best New Journal. The panel of judges, consisting of librarians and publishing professionals, honoured the journal as 'an ambitious project that offers an innovative resource for the Humanities sector'.

Berg Publishers endorses
TRANSFER Code of Practice


Berg Publishers signed up to the Code of Practice developed by UKSG to ensure access to journal content remains accessible by institutions in case of change of publisher. Further details on the guidelines and policies are available at UKSG's website.
